Who is responsible for freeing Ottavio Quattrocchi? Is Karnataka Governor Bharadwaj is responsible for this or ruling party Congress has to blame?

When Bhopal Gas tragedy is running High and Dry and making headlines everyday after 25 years, time has come to book our politicians for their wrong doings. Quattrocchi can escape and running with his unfreezed accounts but one should not forget the people responsible for his escape are living very near to you.

 

Our honourable governor of Karnataka, Hansraj Bharadwaj, the then law minister deputed the additional solicitor general of India, Mr. B. Dutta, to London to specifically request the release of Quattrochi’s accounts. However, it appears that the law ministry has never consulted the investigating agency, CBI in this matter. It is very ridiculous to see Pranabs statement, citing law and order was the reason for Anderson’s release.

 

But one should understand and remember Politicians and Bureaucrats can escape for their short term gains and take political mileage out of it. But they cannot escape from the clutches of people’s anger and rage even for generations.

 ಆದರೆ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿಯ ಲಾಭಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರಿಂದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮೈಲೇಜ್ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬರು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ನೆನಪಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಜನರ ಕೋಪ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೋಧದ ಹಿಡಿತದಿಂದ ಅವರು ತಲೆಮಾರುಗಳವರೆಗೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
